Things that come up

It says it cannot answer until I choose a model

Aidewise needs two things before it can think: an Ollama API key from ollama.com, and a model selected. Both live in Settings. If the key is in and the list of models is empty, the key was probably rejected, so paste it again and watch for the confirmation.

No notifications are arriving

Check that notifications are allowed for Aidewise in the iOS Settings app, that your brief times are set, and that the time you are expecting one is outside your quiet hours. Quiet hours hold a brief until they lift rather than dropping it. If briefs arrive but follow-ups do not, open the app once so it can reschedule them.

It keeps asking about something I already told it

Open the Memory tab and see whether the fact is actually there. Anything it has written down is visible and editable, and anything missing can be added by telling it again in chat.

I want to see or delete everything it knows

Settings has an export that gives you a plain JSON file of everything, readable in any text editor, and an erase that clears all of it. Erase cannot be undone, so export first if there is any doubt.

I want it to stop checking in so often

Settings has the cadence controls, with separate schedules for weekdays and weekends. You can also just say it in chat. Telling it "I am off next Friday" or "pause until the 14th" makes the change directly.

Something it did was wrong

Aidewise asks before anything that writes to your calendar, your reminders or your contacts. If it acted without asking, or got a fact about your life wrong, that is worth an email. Include what it said.

What Aidewise stores and what leaves your phone is written out on the privacy page. If something there is unclear, ask and it will get fixed.
